Unboxing Experience
Let’s do a very quick unboxing. Removing the sleeve, of course, we have the trademark Infinix branding and a list of all the specs you need to know: Sound by JBL, TUV certification, and 256GB of storage. Obviously, the phone is no longer here. The package includes a clear, hard jelly-type case perfect for maintaining that slim profile. No pre-installed tempered glass, just paperwork, a USB-C cable, and the Infinix power brick.

This device comes in three color variants: Titanium Gray, Sleek Black, and Dreamy Purple. I have the Titanium Gray one, and the back finish is nice. Despite its slim build, it feels durable, and even without a case, you shouldn’t worry.
Slimmest Design Claim
Now, earlier in this video, I said this device is the slimmest one in the market. Let’s clarify: the Infinix Hot 50 Pro Plus is claimed to be the slimmest 3D curved slim-edge design at 6.8 mm thin. Additionally, it’s the slimmest device with a 5,000 mAh battery capacity, which is rare for slim phones.
Build Quality and Durability
Infinix achieved this slim design with a feather-light wing structure and titanium armor protection. This clever rearrangement of components and space optimization ensures the device feels solid despite its thinness.
Features Display
The screen’s resolution now outperforms the previous model, which featured a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and Corning Gorilla Glass for security. Three different refresh rate options are available: auto-switch, 60Hz, and 120Hz. A 90Hz choice would have been great, though.
Stereo Sound and Speakers
Its JBL-powered dual speaker setup is one of its major attractions. For an instrument as small as it is, the audio quality is still spectacular even at the maximum volume.

The smartphone has a MediaTek Helio G100 CPU, 256GB of internal storage that can be expanded with a microSD card, and 8GB of RAM. Although higher-level games like Genshin Impact play well at lower applications titles like Honor of Kings and Asphalt 9 run without any issues.

The gadget charges to 50% with a 5,000 mAh battery and 33W cable charging in about 31 minutes, which is quite close to the promised 27 minutes. For everyday use, the battery life is dependable.
Camera Capabilities
The device features a 50MP f/1.6 main camera, though the other two cameras remain unspecified. The lack of an ultrawide lens is noticeable, but for everyday use, the main camera is sufficient.
Pricing and Verdict
The original price of the Infinix Hot 50 Pro Plus is 8,499 pesos. However, with TikTok Shop, you get discounts. It is not a gadget for those who value camera quality. Still, this is an excellent choice for someone looking for the best hardware, durable build, beautiful screen, and awesome speakers for that money.
