This is the most serious problem (or you may call it wonderful iPhone feature). This feature comes with iPhone to optimize battery. But, if you don’t want this feature then there are ways you can turn off this feature.
SOFTWARE FIXES
To turn off this automated feature you can follow these steps:
- First of all open Settings app.
- Tap Face ID & Passcode.
- Enter your lock screen passcode.
- Scroll down a bit, you will find Attention Aware Features.
- Turn this feature OFF.
This feature is basically to maintain( lowers) alert volume when your phone detects that you are continuously looking at your phone.
This is the basic quick fix, but there is another option to fix this issue i.e., checking Headphone Safety under Sounds & Haptics to “Reduce Loud Sounds”.
In order to take the advantage of this feature you must ensure that “Low Power Mode”, Because this feature will dim the volume to optimize battery.
There is another 3rd method available to fix the issue of iphone volume suddenly low. You can check Headphone Safety which is basically the setting of Media volume.
This Feature mainly prevents loud sounds in headphones, but can be the cause of automatically lowering volume when battery is low.
Follow these steps to ensure this feature is working as per need:
- Open Settings.
- Tap Sounds & Haptics.
- Tap Headphone Safety.
- Turn off Reduce Loud Sounds.
HARDWARE FIXES
Sometimes, after a lot of usage the issue can not resolved. To ensure that the issue is not with hardware you can follow these steps.
To ensure that the issue is not with hardware you should check whether the iPhone is not the low battery charge not. The phone will automatically switch to low power mode when the battery is 20% to 30%, to preserve battery.
This preservation of battery will effect the following:
- Media volume goes down.
- Screen brightness goes down.
- Background processes slows down.
In order to check the hardware issues with the iPhone battery health, follow these steps:
- Open settings.
- Tap Battery.
- Tap Battery Health.
- Search for Maximum capacity.
If the number is down to 80%, its time to replace the battery.
